We would love to see as many members as possible at this years Flower show held in Stoke Poges School grounds.

We will also be launching a competition open to the public (but not SPPC members or their families) with cash prizes so make sure all your friends stop by and say hello!

For the first time, our club will display a stand in the Slough horticultural Show.

Photograph based on the letter E competition

This year we are launching a competition which is open to the public. 

This is a free to enter photographic competition run by Stoke Poges Photographic Club (SPPC) for people aged 14 and over.

All you have to do is take a photograph where the main subject is based on the letter E - for example, Elephant, Enjoyment, Eye, Egg, Exercise.

There are three cash prizes:
1st £50     2nd £25     3rd £10
 
Closing date: Tuesday 13th September 2016
 
Judging and prize presentation will take place
at an open evening on 27th September 2016
at The Village Centre, Rogers Lane,
Stoke Poges, Bucks SL2 4LP.

The rules are simple:

  • The competition is run and judged exclusively by Stoke Poges Photographic Club (“SPPC”). 

  • The competition is open to amateur photographers.

  • Only 1 entry per person.

  • The photograph must be solely the work of the named submitter

  • (A parent may submit an entry on behalf of their child).

  • Please supply your photograph in .jpeg format (the bigger the better)  to SPPCphotocomp@outlook.com no later than Tuesday 13th September 2016.

  • Include your name and contact telephone number in covering email.

  • Under 18s please obtain agreement to enter from your parent/guardian, who should submit your entry using their email account, providing your name and age (sorry, over 14s only), and their name and contact number.

  • Members of CACC affiliated clubs including, SPPC, former members and their families may not enter.

  • In the event of a large number of entries, SPPC reserves the right to pre-judge entries prior to the judging on Tuesday 27th September 2016
    This will be by the same judge in both cases.

  • Photographs will be judged on creativity and imagination, as well as camera skills.

  • SPPC reserves the right to use winning entries for club promotion and/or other purposes.

Following on from the enormous success of last seasons competition which was open to the public and due to the many requests we have received we are again opening this competition to the public.

  

This is a free to enter photographic competition run by Stoke Poges Photographic Club (SPPC) for people aged 14 and over.

main subject is based on the letter F - for example,
Fox, Fruit, Fear, Frozen, Flying.

There are three cash prizes:
