Congratulations to Mark Collins for winning the first of this seasons competitions. The Edith Ward trophy was originally a holiday image competition but times change and 8 years ago we started the "Alphabet" competition which this year reached the letter H.

Also well done to judge Steven Galvin who did a good job in his selection, it is always a difficult task separating out images and deciding wha...

The last night of the season was not only a lovely relaxed social evening but gave us the chance to have not only a group shot to commemorate the season but also the opportunity to record the winning images alongside their authors holding the trophies. Congratulations to all the winners and many thanks to everyone that entered the competitions this season and made such an exciting season.

Our deepest sympathy and best wishes go out to Terry's family. For some reason Terry often didn't get as much credit as he deserved for his entries but he was never down-heartened by this and took enormous pride when other members came up and...

The new season is now truly up and running with the first competition of the year - The Edith Ward Alphabet Competition - being judged with great skill by Paul Burwood. It was really great to see entries submitted by some of our new members and hopefully they enjoyed Pauls critique. The very tight competition was won by Kevin Day with his image Foglight but it was a very close thing and the author...

It is with enormous sadness that I have to tell you that Jean Porter, one of our longest serving members, passed away yesterday. Jean was not only a very active member of the local community but was always one of the first to offer her help and assistance when the club asked for support. Her enthusiasm and drive will sorely be missed. We feel it is only right and fitting that we show a selection o...

The variety and selection of work from all our members has been great to see this year and whilst some of the more "creative" shots haven't achieved the succ...
