A great day in the Gardens
The club had a lovely day helping The Stoke Poges Memorial Gardens celebrate their 80th Anniversary on Monday 25th May. A huge thanks to Kate and Rob who let us use their tents for the day, the two marquees were joined to create a lovely L shape viewing area for all the prints of the garden that we had mounted in frames, and with a small selection of other shots we created a lot of interest from the hundreds of vistors that the garden had during the day, so thank you to all the club members that turned up to help out during the day, it was really appreciated.
As well as selling a number of prints to help club funds we also attracted a lot of interest from the visitors and hopefully will be seeing some of them when the new season starts in September. We also need to thank Ken Grant who spent the whole day not only chatting to the visitors but took the shots here both of the stand and our introduction to the Mayor of Hillingdon.
